As of 1 July this year, Alimentos Sanygran, a company specialising in the development and manufacturing of plant-based food solutions, has incorporated the assets corresponding to the BIO and vegan line of Nutrition & Santé Iberia. These include the factory located in Castellterçol (Barcelona), goodwill, the NATURSOY brand, and the distribution of third-party brands in the specialised BIO retail channel, thereby reinforcing its value proposition in the field of plant-based nutrition.
The transaction also includes the integration of a team of 60 people, which will enable Sanygran to expand its operational capacity and strengthen its capabilities in the development, production and marketing of plant-based products, both in terms of ingredients and finished goods.
With this addition, the company advances its strategy of industrial consolidation and positioning across the entire value chain, aiming to lead Spain’s plant protein sector by integrating new capabilities that complement its existing technological and production platform.
This transaction forms part of Sanygran’s growth and development roadmap, aimed at responding to the increasing demand for innovative, healthy and sustainable food solutions, while reinforcing its role as an industrial partner for clients in the retail, foodservice and food manufacturing sectors.
