Winners of the Alimenta Navarra Innovation Award

We are celebrating!

The 7th Alimenta Navarra Awards, promoted by Navarra Capital and NAGRIFOOD, sponsored by Eroski and CaixaBank, and in collaboration with the Government of Navarra, Tudela Town Council, the Union of Agri-food Cooperatives of Navarra (UCAN), the Confederation of Businesses of La Ribera (AER) and the Basque Culinary Center, were held again on 21 November.

The awards took place at the Gaztambide Theatre in Tudela and admission was free until full capacity was reached. If you were unable to attend, you can watch the entire gala on Navarra Capital’s official Youtube channel.

Winners by category

During the gala, a total of 4 awards were presented in 4 different categories:

  • Professional Career and Personal Development: Mari Carmen Arbizu, founder and manager of Embutidos Arbizu.
  • Innovation: Alimentos Sanygran (manufacturers of Plant-Based products and ingredients).
  • Internationalisation: Natur All (vegetable drinks company).
  • Sustainability: Maskarada (company specialising in the breeding and production of pork products).

In addition to these prizes, there were two awards outside the competition, the Prize for Generational Change in the Countryside, which went to Mikel Hernandorena (Lacturale), and the Emerging Ambassadors of Navarrese Produce Award, which went to Joxe Apezteguia, from Hostel Restaurante Santamaría (Santesteban/Doneztebe).

Our thanks

Today, we are proud and grateful to share this award in the Innovation category. The term innovation refers to changes that include some novelty (or several) and implementing new ideas is not an easy task, which is why we are particularly excited about this award. We always emphasise that innovation is in our DNA and this type of recognition rewards all the efforts we make as a company to continually innovate.

As we have thanked in other media, we would like to make special mention to our General Manager, Roselyne Chane, and our Quality and Innovation Manager, ISABEL VELÁZQUEZ PÉREZ, who were responsible for collecting the award and without them, it would not have been possible to achieve it.
